In this review I will take a look at the popular VPN Trust Zone. I will review the most important features this VPN has to offer.
We have tons of VPNs out there. Some are free and some are not. The quality of their services of course depends on the kind of service they provide which is either free or charged. It’s a common fact that mostly free or cheap things are no match for expensive services. No matter how durable things may seem at first, a free service provider will always lack somewhere that a charged or expensive service provider gets you out of. Most people learn it the hard way.
So, what is Trust Zone VPN? Well, like it’s apparent from the name, it’s a VPN service security provider that has been the talk among internet users and has been passing with flying colors in most critiques which is mainly the reason why I decided to check it out for myself and see whether the hype is real and deserved or not. I wanted to pass my personal verdict based on my experience with it and hence write an honest review about how things work in the Trust Zone VPN machine.
Trust Zone provides 107 VPN servers in 48 different locations around the world. It is pretty loved around the globe which is the inspiration behind these word-s you are reading and will hopefully continue to read. One of our main concerns was checking the performance of this VPN due to which we kept changing the servers to see if we encounter any connectivity issues. But it took us all by surprise when it ran smoothly without any annoying interruptions. The server load on some countries with VPN is less than 20% which ensures the convenience of their customers and the program’s success.

Trust Zone Features
Now, let’s talk about what Trust Zone brings forward to the table for us. First of all Trust Zone is registered in the Seychelles. Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean. Now if there are any geeks reading this, they will most definitely know why being registered there is good news. And for those who don’t know, you don’t have to switch tabs and do another google search, you clicked the right page when you came here. So folks, if a VPN is registered in an area like the Seychelles that means that it will be free of basic mandatory data retention laws. That means Seychelles qualifies as the most suitable place for conducting operations.
Having trust issues with the internet and generally the whole world, I would personally not browse using a VPN provider that keeps a track or history of your activities. That is also one of the reasons why Trust Zone is a suitable VPN for most people because it does not keep your history. We also did our extensive research to see if anything suspicious can be detected by this company but we never found anything. Their parent company is Extra Solutions Ltd which is apparently very much trusted by its customers worldwide.
Trust Zone is pretty widespread as well. It has servers around the world and that is impressive for a VPN provider that is just new to the market. To be more specific, it offers 105 servers in a total of 32 countries globally. However, there is one downside to it in this case which must be mentioned as well. Trust Zone has one single server for both African and South American contents. That’s one disappointment from this provider.
Those who have not yet paid for Trust Zone’s services cannot avail the service of multiple devices connected at a time. Only paid customers get to connect up to 3 devices at a time.
Trust Zone VPN Usability
It is very easy to sign up or register for Trust Zone and it takes usually less than 15 minutes. I would personally recommend everyone to try their free trial pack before making any decisions based on product reviews since every person is subjected to have a different experience. It’s the safest thing to do here. Further, my suggestion to those reading and wishing to start using this VPN is to go for the low priced packages in your first few subscriptions. You can’t determine your total opinion of something with just one use obviously so if you have to keep making its use it is wise to spend less on it so you don’t regret it later on. As usual, you need to have a proper and verified email account for signing up. I also encourage you to read comments on review pages to gain some personal insight on different perspectives too which will help you make a better decision.
All you need to do is sign up with your email address first and then go to your email to verify your registration. Once you’re signed up, you’ll have to select your plan and start paying for it. There are plenty of ways to pay for your Trust Zone account which is one more thing I really like about this VPN. As of now, Trust Zone is offering online payment through the following platforms:
Trust Zone VPN Pricing
One great thing that most of us in the review team noticed about this little VPN was that they are really new to business but already over the top than several VPN providers who have been providing VPN and security for ages. It looks like Trust Zone has done its homework and made itself well aware of its customers’ needs. Trust Zone seems to understand that if the package you’re offering is attractive but the pricing is not, there are chances of people turning to cheaper alternatives. Keeping that in mind, Trust Zone has some very economical offers for all of those who wish to avail its services.
First comes the monthly package. This package lasts only one months as you may have guessed from the name. It is highly suitable for those who are visiting countries that have a high online surveillance and they wish to guard their browsing experiences. This wonderful and handy package is available for a price of $6.99 per month with the same features as the other packages. However, Trust Zone itself makes a claim that its yearly package is its most popular or the best offer but from what I have observed, the public is more in favor of the monthly plan since it’s convenient.
The next plan is the 3 month plan which is available for $4.99 per month. Now this is a lot cheaper than the monthly plan you must be thinking. Yes that is the case. This plan comes with a 30% off compared to the previous one. It is not entirely a fan favorite but I wouldn’t really comment on which plan is the best since none of the charges affect their services.
The Yearly plan is the cheapest among all of the plans. It is priced as $3.33 per month. This means a total of 53% discount!
Trust Zone Support Rating
Now while we go hunting for the best VPN providers, one of our main items to check off the list is support. Support determines how customer friendly and how convenient a provider is. Unfortunately, with Trust Zone, it was a huge let down. You’d think for a VPN as good and hyped up as Trust Zone, they must have improved their support area if good performance in this regard wasn’t already there in the first place. But that is not the case with this VPN. I only found an FAQ page and ticket support area on their official website which is disappointing to say the least.
The second problem is just another problem within the first deficiency. Although there is ticket support which isn’t much of use anyway, that service is not available 24/7 for anyone. They have business hours on which they operate and outside those you don’t have access to the ticket support panel. I mean, come on. That is just very inconvenient and might be the thing that drives away customers because comfort and facility is everyone’s top priority. Their operating hours are from Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Now while I submitted my own ticket and decided to test the only service they have for me to test, the results weren’t extra-ordinary. They could have been faster as they took a couple of hours to reply to me. Normally, my old VPN provider ticket responded within an hour. I think their overall service is good but only if they fixed some apparent holes in their scheme will they be able to maximize their profit and attract as much customer attention as they can. They should be able to provide telephone and email services as those are pretty convenient compared to tickets. Also, Skype or Live Video chat sessions should be included.
But, in addition to that, Trust Zone supports some major operating systems and devices. Trust Zone is fully compatible with Windows, Mac OSX, Ubuntu, Linux Mint 17.1, Windows Phone, Android (4.4 Kitkat) and iOS devices. It also comes with a really high grade encryption system. It supports certain security protocols like OpenVPN, SSTP, PPTP, and L2TP/IPSec. It’s quite wonderful to see this.
Trust Zone VPN Speedtest
I think the most crucial factor of a VPN is its speed. While trying to review a VPN, it is import for anyone to run several tests with the server’s speed and determine their opinion of it accordingly. Now most servers are a little tardy with the speed no matter how good they are otherwise. That, unfortunately to my experience, is the case with Trust Zone too. This VPN has a speed problem. I ran the tests on different kinds of servers, all of them were alright. Nothing was too fast. Sure, the results were positive but just like any other VPN, they were fine. But, the Germany server was really slow. That was what bothered me the most.
Secondly, DNS leaks. Trust Zone has a problem of DNS leaks and that really disappointed me. Having such a great VPN and then not taking care of a problem like DNS leaks is kind of strange. It defeats the whole purpose of using a VPN in the first place. Where is the security in that? I tested Trust Zone’s services through ipleak.net and it showed me my own DNS! That was very strange and added rocks to my opinion of this VPN.
If I am to write a summary for this review, I would say that overall it’s good. Nothing too professional, but then again not a lot of VPNs are. It’s great for beginners. Anyone who is very new into using a VPN will probably appreciate Trust Zone because of its ease of use and flexible facilities. For example, the ticket issue is a problem. It is ok for starters because people new to this don’t have much of an experience with it so they can function with ease around tickets. However, their response time might be a problem. But for those who have been in the game for long might come across a few shortcomings. Take the speed issue. A fellow had an internet connection that averaged 120mbps down and 15 mbps up with 50 ms pings. He did not recommend it because he could not get service above 20mbps and according to him, his pings are as high as 100 ms. He told to me let the readers know about this speed issue.
Secondly, Trust Zone could really improve itself by launching in more locations. For example, we need more locations in Africa. Their service is good but if it is limited to a few people, I doubt it will ever be as successful as the creators want it to be.
Also, the website having no translation and only being in English was a problem for some people to. I hope they can work on that part.
